I thought I screwed the can on tight and definitely turned the locking ring. I’m still not sure what happened. The can launched on the first shot. I didn’t even realize it, had ear protection on, and was thinking it was just louder because it’s a semi automatic lol The Nomad L looked okay, so after a few test shots, I filmed the other mag dumps to complete the video.
Dead Air’s warranty and KG Made’s quick fix is definitely a reason to buy from them.
The host gun is a PTR 91 KF Carbine 16.5” .308/7.62x51 with heavy barrel. Installed are a Clubfoot stock and rubber butt pad and heavy buffer, SEF grip clipped and pinned with finger grooves, RCM #17 36 degree locking piece, HK bipod, Magpul MS1 sling with HK hook and holding clip, surplus magazine and UTG QD scope rings.
It has a Primary Arms SLx 4-14x44 acss ffp scope
I bought the Butler Creek flip up caps for it.
The ammo was Federal M62 7.62X51 tracer bulk packed.
I’ll make a long range video of this gun probably in the spring or next summer. The area that this was filmed at is closing very soon if not already.
