Brain Bucket: Why You Might Want to Buy a Helmet

When it comes to ballistic helmets, the normal focus is on stopping bullets and fragmentation from explosive devices. But, what about other threats? Have you ever considered that, regardless of how cool or Gucci your rifle happens to be, an asshole with a beer bottle or a brick could take you out? A blow to the back of your head from a rock, brick, bottle, etc. could put you down for the day, the week, or forever.

We took some time to demonstrate these attacks on our training partner “Bob”; both with and without a helmet in place.
