Description:
It was time for the Pedersoli rifles to go away. This is the first rifle I bought to replace them with. It's a lightly used Shiloh Sharps model 1874 in 45-70 from the early days when the current ownership took over. It has a 3 digit serial number including a 'B', meaning that it's a Bryan gun, the very best of the Sharps rifles. My intent is for this to be a dedicated Silhouette rifle although it may see duty at the Quigley this year. Anyway, we go through the steps of getting to know our new rifle. We locate the null point in the barrel, figure out our true max OAL, slug the bore to get our correct bullet size, and figure out the twist rate of the rifling.

Thanks for watching!
