Jason had only one match between each of his Gi and No-Gi matches. That is he rolled, had 5 minutes or less of a break, rolled again, 5 minute or less brake and rolled again. This was his 6th or 7th match and he was exhausted.
Kent's 2nd Gi match at the Springfield Missouri Fuji tournament. October 8, 2022. The ref called the match because I "made noise" while trying to turn on my side to get our of the choke. I admit he had a choke, however it was not to the point of submission, it was to the point of fighting out of it.
This is why you never let the decision go to the judges and apparently can't exhale loudly while you attempt to break a hold.
