Hello all,
I have been doing a lot of in-depth research into this great cartridge for quite some time. Learning from it's inception, through the black powder years, through the smokeless powder transition years...how this cartridge went from "Winning The West" to becoming the neutered redheaded stepchild by the mid 1970's. The advent of Cowboy Action Shooting helped in resurrecting the firearms that chambered this cartridge, but did nothing but further hurt the understanding as to it's true capabilities as the rifle cartridge it was created to be.
I hope through my videos and through the information published on the 44-40 Cartridge website that folks will regain the true understanding of the capabilities of this cartridge whether it is being used in a rifle, a carbine or a revolver.
I have compiled a tremendous amount of information and photos published on the 44-40 Cartridge website here: https://sites.google.com/view/44winchester
Please feel free to leave comments and recommendations on how I can better improve methods of sharing such information.
Regards!
